Matt Shepherd is an experienced Air Traffic Management (ATM) Consultant with extensive aviation experience across the domains of air traffic control, airport and airspace planning, airport capacity enhancement, safety, policy advice and cost benefit analyses.

Matt has over thirty years’ experience working for an Air Navigation Service Provider, managing the strategic planning and delivery of significant major ATM projects, as well as managing a busy capital city Terminal Control Unit.

In 2005, Matt was selected by the Churchill Trust as the recipient of the Bruce Byers Churchill Fellowship to study international ATC training and has also been awarded an Australia day medal.

Matt is a champion for Airport-Collaborative Decision Making, Air Traffic Flow Management and airspace and flight path design and is currently working with Governments, ANSPs and Airport owners in the delivery of pragmatic, efficient operational programs.
